  Science on Trial is the single best book about the implant controversy. Marcia Angell is executive editor of the New England Journal of Medicine, and her book does a good job of pointing out the numerous fallacies and errors committed by those who believe implants are dangerous. This book was vehemently attacked by implant advocates when it was originally published, but every single serious scientific study of implants has affirmed Angell's key message -- there is simply no scientific evidence that breast implants cause any disease.
