Online comic strip PVP Online skewers John Edward by highlighting exactly how he gets those not-so-amazing hits to dead relatives on his show. The cartoon features the characters watching Edward's show, with Edwards saying,

I'm sensing someone who once had a job, or knew someone with a job. Anyone? Someone who ate food, and slept in a bed . . . possibly a man or a woman. Someone who had hair. Long or maybe short.

At that point a gasp comes from the audience and someone says, "My dad had short hair and ate food."

There you have it -- Edward's schtick in a single comic strip.
